- The Cardiovascular Anesthesiology team provides care for more than 6,000 adult cardiovascular procedures annually.
- Cases include adult cardiac, vascular, thoracic, transplant, and structural heart procedures performed in operating rooms and catheterization laboratories.
- The department sponsors a Critical Care Medicine Fellowship, a Cardiothoracic Anesthesia Fellowship, and an Anesthesiology Residency Program.

Responsibilities
- Provide anesthetic care for a diverse and complex cardiovascular case mix.
- Partner with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.
- Advance patient safety, quality improvement, clinical innovation, and the growth and development of the cardiovascular anesthesia program.
- Teach anesthesiology residents, Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology fellows, medical students, and other trainees through clinical instruction, conferences, and educational programs.
- Engage in research and scholarly activity, with opportunities to collaborate with investigators on clinical, educational, and outcomes-based research projects.
