Cardiologist - Principal Investigator Opportunity (Clinical Research)

Job Overview

DM Family Care in Miami, FL, is expanding into the clinical research field. Position Title

Principal Investigator – Cardiologist (Florida‑licensed)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct medical assessments and physical exams of study participants
• Provide expert input for cardiovascular, metabolic, and hypertension studies
• Serve as Principal Investigator (PI) on upcoming Phase II–III clinical trials
• Review and sign study‑related documents, labs, and safety reports
• Provide ongoing medical oversight throughout clinical trials
• Ensure compliance with FDA, GCP, IRB, and study sponsor requirements
• Collaborate with research coordinators, nurses, and study monitors
• Maintain accurate and timely study documentation

Qualifications

• Board Certified / Board Eligible Cardiologist
• Active Florida Medical License (required)
• Prior research experience preferred but not required
• GCP training required
• Strong clinical judgment and collaborative communication style
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required

Preferred (not mandatory)

• Prior experience in clinical research or trials

Work Environment & Schedule

Hybrid role: combination of remote responsibilities and required on‑site participation at our Miami location. Flexible schedule, tailored to study demands (ideal for physicians maintaining their own practice).

Compensation

Compensation is structured as a revenue‑sharing model, with the physician receiving 20% of physician‑related study revenue for awarded trials. Details will be discussed during the interview process.
