Business Litigation Associate

A leading national law firm is seeking a Business Litigation Associate to join its Wilmington office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in working on sophisticated business disputes, including matters before the Delaware Court of Chancery , one of the nation's premier business courts.

The Role

  • Complex business and commercial litigation matters
  • Delaware Court of Chancery litigation
  • Superior Court of Delaware and District of Delaware matters
  • Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings
  • Managing discovery and preparing for depositions
  • Participating in depositions, hearings, and court appearances
  • Direct client interaction and substantive case responsibility
  • Collaboration with a nationally recognized litigation team

Ideal Background

  • Approximately 2–3 years of litigation experience
  • Experience handling court filings, drafting pleadings, and managing litigation matters
  • Familiarity with the Delaware Court of Chancery, Superior Court of Delaware, and/or the District of Delaware strongly preferred
  • Strong research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Judicial clerkship experience preferred but not required
  • Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school required
  • Active Delaware bar admission required

Compensation

$235,000 – $260,000 based on relevant years of experience and overall background.
