Finpilot is the AI-native operating system for institutional capital.
Our customers decide where the long-term capital of the economy goes. They are the investment offices behind universities and governments, public pensions and foundations, hospital systems and insurers, families and asset managers, each managing tens to hundreds of billions of dollars. This is the capital that pays for research, medicine and retirement.
Those teams still work across five systems built before AI, with a person in the middle moving information between them by hand. The people trusted with these decisions spend most of their week assembling information instead of judging it.
We are rebuilding that from the ground up. Finpilot unifies every system and every document an investment office holds into a single shared brain, then runs AI agents on top of it. The agents do the work: the research, the analysis, the diligence, and the ongoing watch on every manager and every position. They run continuously in the background, at a depth no team could staff for, and bring people in for the decisions.
Human intelligence where it counts. AI agents everywhere else.
Some of the largest and most respected pools of capital in the country run on Finpilot today, and several have made it the core platform for their office. This is an industry that changes its software about once a generation, and it is changing now.
Finpilot is a Series A company backed by Madrona Venture Group and Lobby Capital. We are a small team with deep expertise in finance and technology. We bring decades of financial industry experience and have previously built fintech companies acquired by Nasdaq and ADP. For three years we have focused on the hardest part of applying AI to this industry: precision and accuracy, because the numbers we produce end up in front of investment committees.
The role
For many investment offices, you’ll be the first person at Finpilot they hear from. You’ll research institutions where Finpilot can help, reach out to the people who lead them, and set up introductory conversations with our sales team and CEO. These are CIOs, COOs, CTOs and heads of investment operations at endowments, foundations, pensions, family offices, OCIOs, asset managers and wealth managers.
You’ll work directly with our CEO and sales team on how Finpilot reaches new institutions. You’ll join discovery calls and demos early, so you understand what matters to the people you contact, and you’ll help us prepare for the industry conferences we attend.
What we're looking for
- Proven track record in outbound prospecting and pipeline generation, with cold-sourced meetings you can point to.
- Comfort engaging senior decision makers, dealing with rejection and handling objections.
- Strong writing. Almost all of your first contact with these buyers happens in writing.
- The right attitude: positivity, team and mission first mindset, eager to learn, comfortable with ambiguity and a dynamic working environment.
Nice to have: 1 to 3 years of cold outbound or sales experience, and exposure to fintech or institutional investment. Financial services experience is strongly preferred, but we are open to exceptional BDR candidates who learn fast and have genuine interest in the finance and investment world.
What we offer
- Competitive salary with fully covered health benefits, including dental and vision
- Above-market equity
- A key role in building our outbound sales motion from the ground up
- Close collaboration with the founder and leadership team
- Room to grow and lead sales within the organization as we scale
- The chance to transform how finance and knowledge work is done with AI
You will be joining a small and talent-dense team. This is an opportunity to define the next generation of financial systems with AI and shape the future of knowledge work.
