We are seeking three Business Analysts to perform critical data cleansing, record reconciliation, and public support operations for a major public health registry system. The primary goal of this contract engagement is to maintain data integrity across large-scale electronic health and immunization records through manual record deduplication, discrepancy resolution, and customer service support.
Data Cleansing & Quality Control
• Conduct manual record deduplication by identifying, matching, and merging duplicate patient demographic and health records in system queues.
• Identify and merge duplicate records flagged and reported by external system providers.
• Separate comingled or incorrectly merged patient records to ensure accurate data history.
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies across existing database records.
• Monitor incoming data to identify trends in duplicate creation and recommend process improvements to matching/merging workflows.
• Collaborate with registry leadership and team members to develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data maintenance.
User & Public Support Operations
• Process incoming public requests for record updates, changes, and official record copies.
• Provide phone and email hotline support to assist the public with record inquiries and service requests.
• Communicate effectively with internal team members and external stakeholders to resolve complex data issues.
Security & Compliance
• Strictly adhere to data privacy regulations and organization policies to always ensure data security and confidentiality.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Experience: Background as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Data Quality Specialist with experience in large-scale data cleansing, record reconciliation, or database maintenance.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with data deduplication processes, database record structures, and ticket/queue management systems.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for direct email/phone support with the public and internal teams.
• Professional Standards: Ability to handle confidential data discreetly and maintain a respectful, collaborative work environment.
