Built in 1930, our beautifully maintained 21-story building in downtown Seattle has landmark status.The WAC is seeking individuals who are dedicated to being the best and are willing to embrace the Club's five core values: Leadership, Excellence, Integrity, Service and Sensitivity.OverviewThe Building Operations Manager is responsible for successful leadership and management of all aspects of the WAC's Building Operations, particularly building maintenance, janitorial, maintenance project planning and management.Position ResponsibilitiesManage building maintenance programs and initiativesEnsure building cleanliness and environmental standards are met; monitor utility usageDirect and provide overall supervision to the Chief Engineer and Maintenance teamWork with the Chief Operating Officer to refine key strategies for successServe as project manager for WAC capital improvement projectsWork closely with the Building Operations Assistant Manager and Chief Engineer in coordinating and performing preventive maintenance database planningParticipate in Building and Operations department meetings, including serving as the head of the safety committeeOther duties as assigned.QualificationsA minimum of eight (8) years of building management experience in a supervisory capacityBachelor's degree in Building Management or related field, or equivalent experienceStrong communication skills and a customer service mindset.Must have or be able to obtain Osha 30 cer.Benefit InformationBenefit package for full-time team members: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability insurancePaid Time Off (PTO) – accrues at a rate of.0519 hours per hours worked to a maximum of 108 hours per year9 paid holidays per year401(K) with employer matchEmployee Assistance ProgramFitness Reimbursement ProgramORCA Passport ProgramPet insurance availableFree daily meal (soup/salad bar)Discount on spa services and products
