# Boomi Integration Developer - Claims AutomationApplyApplyPosted 1 day agoShareContractSeattle, Washington$30 HourlyABOUT THE ROLEOur client is seeking an experienced Boomi Integration Developer to build and maintain claims-automation workflows using Boomi AtomSphere. This role will focus on moving claims through validation, eligibility review, AI-assisted evaluation, human exception handling, and final updates to core systems while protecting PHI and maintaining a clear audit trail.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Build and support Boomi processes that automate claims intake, validation, eligibility review, routing, and downstream updates. • Integrate AI services to evaluate claim information, identify missing details, and recommend next steps. • Route claims that cannot be resolved automatically to human reviewers with clear exception details. • Capture human-review outcomes as feedback to improve automation over time. • Write claim decisions, updates, and processing statuses back to core applications and SQL Server databases. • Build reusable Boomi processes, maps, connectors, cross-reference tables, and subprocesses. • Integrate Boomi with APIs, databases, SFTP locations, batch files, and internal systems. • Implement validation, error routing, retry logic, batching, and duplicate-processing prevention. • Manage deployments, environment promotions, packaged components, and Atom operations. • Use Groovy or JavaScript when needed while favoring native Boomi functionality. • Test integrations using synthetic data before production deployment. • Protect HIPAA and PHI data across AI requests, prompts, logs, test data, and operational workflows. • Maintain version control and documented change management using Bitbucket. • Provide clear Jira updates, runbooks, and workflow documentation.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS• 5+ years of hands-on Boomi AtomSphere development experience. • Experience building production workflows involving validation, decision routing, exception handling, retries, and system updates. • Experience integrating REST or SOAP APIs, databases, flat files, JSON, XML, and SFTP processes. • Strong SQL Server skills. • Experience building reusable Boomi components and managing deployments and environments. • Experience using Groovy or JavaScript within Boomi. • Experience with error handling, human-review queues, monitoring, and unattended processes. • Understanding of HIPAA and PHI handling requirements. • Strong testing, version-control, and documentation practices. • Clear written communication and daily overlap with U.S. business hours.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS• Benefits administration, healthcare, insurance, or claims-processing experience. • Experience integrating an LLM or other AI service into a production workflow through APIs. • Experience with human-in-the-loop AI workflows and feedback capture. • Boomi Professional Developer or Architect certification. • Exposure to Boomi API Management, Event Streams, or Flow. • Experience migrating legacy claims processes into Boomi.• Experience monitoring and supporting unattended claims-processing workflows.ABOUT THE ROLEOur client is seeking an experienced Boomi Integration Developer to build and maintain claims-automation workflows using Boomi AtomSphere.
