The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, in affiliation with New York City Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, is seeking a full-time Body or Neuroradiologist. - Elmhurst Hospital Center is a 545-bed tertiary care facility and an ACS-verified level 1 trauma center.
- The department of radiology has 4 CT scanners, 1 MRI, and a new Siemens biplane interventional suite.
- The new Siemens biplane interventional suite is a component of the new stroke program.
- Turnover in the department of radiology is very low.
Responsibilities
- Interpret diagnostic studies with an emphasis on cross sectional imaging including CT, US, and MRI studies.
Compensation
- Compensation range from $425,000 to $475,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits).
Shift & Schedule
- Flexible hybrid remote and onsite work options are available.
- The position covers daytime shifts Monday-Friday.
- Minimal call responsibility consisting of several Saturday and Sunday on-call shifts over the course of a year.
- Moonlighting opportunities are available on evenings and weekends.
Requirements
- MD degree from an Accredited University
- Board certified/eligible in Radiology
- Valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented health system
