This role offers a unique hybrid-subspecialty model, allowing physicians to tailor their neuro sub-specialization from a pure Neuroradiology focus to a hybrid General-Neuro role, with flexible scheduling options including tele, hybrid, or onsite work. Practice Info

  • Hybrid-subspecialty model allowing self-selection of neuro sub-specialization, from pure Neuroradiology to hybrid General-Neuro.
  • Exclusive coverage of Neuroradiology cases.
  • Daily caseload is reasonable and manageable, consisting primarily of cross-sectional imaging studies with occasional plain films.
  • Case complexity is moderate and typical for a community-based health system.
  • Productivity supported by a strong volume of outpatient MRI cases, offering consistently high RVU generation.
  • No procedures required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the growing practice in Connecticut.
  • Provide exclusive coverage of Neuroradiology cases.
  • Read cross-sectional imaging studies and occasional plain films.
  • Potentially read non-neuro cases or participate in moonlighting for additional compensation.
  • Participate in teaching and academic engagement through the onsite radiology residency program.

Compensation

  • Uncapped earning potential with a pathway to partnership with profit-sharing opportunities.
  • Significant compensation increase recently implemented, including the introduction of Time-Based Work Units (TBWU).
  • Salary Range with a base of $625,000 for on-site and $600,000 for remote with productivity incentives upwards to $1,000,000 annually.
  • Commencement and/or Retention bonuses up to $100,000 collectively.
  • Opportunities to read non-neuro cases or participate in moonlighting for additional compensation.
  • Annual discretionary bonus.

Shift & Schedule

  • Full-time (30+ hrs/week).
  • Day/1st Shift.
  • Flexible work arrangements: onsite, hybrid, or remote teleradiology.
  • Multiple scheduling models available: 7 on/7 off, 7 on/14 off, Monday - Friday with weekend commitments.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Osteopathy (DO).
  • Licensed or ability to obtain medical license in the State of Connecticut and Massachusetts.
  • Board Eligible or Certified, American Board of Radiology (ABR) or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR).
  • Residency Trained, ACGME Accredited Radiology Program.
  • Fellowship Trained, Neuroradiology.
  • CAQ in Neuroradiology (or eligible to obtain CAQ within 1 year of employment).
