BMS Application Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• The Application Engineer will be responsible for assembling submittal documentation for Temperature Controls projects based on estimates and construction documentation.
• This position will work closely with Sales and Operations personnel to assemble complete drawings for submission and as-built documentation, and update drawings as needed throughout the construction process.
• The Application Engineer will primarily take direction from the Construction & Service Operations Managers, with specific direction on a per-project basis coming from the respective Project Manager.
• Based on experience level, the Application Engineer may assist in building the Building Automation System (BMS) database, building floorplan graphics, and supporting commissioning activities.

Qualifications:

• A two-year technical degree or equivalent relevant technical education.
• 3–5 years of experience specifically in BAS/HVAC temperature controls.
• Experience preparing HVAC control drawings and submittal packages.
• Understanding of DDC controls and HVAC control sequences.
• Experience updating as-built drawings.
• Exposure to BMS database configuration and graphics.
