Biotech Out-Licensing Manager

Currently seeking an experienced biotechnology organization located in the US seeking a Biotech Out-Licensing Manager to oversee global strategy for biological and therapeutic assets.This position is entirely remote and open to candidates across the United States. The company is based in Maryland, and candidates working within Eastern Time Zone hours are highly preferred to facilitate collaboration with executives and core business operations.Role RequirementWe are looking for candidates with recent experience managing out-licensing transactions in a biotech or pharma setting. Candidates must have held or currently hold a Business Development role within a biotech or pharma environment.

Experience in areas such as CROs, medical devices, healthcare services, or commercial sales will not qualify for this role.ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing global licensing strategies, identifying key biopharma partners, structuring complex transactions, and creating enterprise value through strategic collaborations.What We Need• Previous hands-on experience in biotech out-licensing as part of a Business Development leadership role• Extensive background in biopharmaceutical business development and strategic licensing• Proven track record of successfully negotiating global licensing transactions• Strong financial knowledge including valuation of assets and deal structuring• In-depth understanding of therapeutic development, regulatory pathways, and commercialization strategies• Exceptional executive-level relationship management skills and a history of driving tangible results• Ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously with accuracy and confidentialityThis role does not involve commercial sales.
