Our first product line of ready-to-eat overnight oats pioneers a new category for the breakfast occasion, offering a healthy, satiating, and convenient alternative to traditional morning meals.Our mission is to make healthy food more convenient so that humankind can feel, think, and do better.Role DescriptionBatchers are responsible for the batching and execution of recipes in the production room, quality of products, and following all production and quality procedures. Batchers assist the Machine Operator in ensuring all filling of product is done in specification and compliance to production and quality standards.Specific Responsibilities:Follow recipes: sort, weigh, prepare and mix ingredients with extreme accuracyEnsures all ingredients, product, supplies, tools and equipment are used, cleaned, and stored according to the standard operating proceduresTrack product lots and fill out production paperwork dailyWork with maintenance to ensure all machinery is operating efficiently and well maintained, preventative maintenance and troubleshootingPerform the proper sanitation and cleaning of processing and production equipmentTactical Requirements:2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in food manufacturing or culinary fieldAbility to read and follow recipes with accuracyComfortable operating production machineryAbility to use a scale to weigh multiple ingredientsWilling to learn and follow Good Manufacturing Processes (GMPs) and safety regulationsAbility to multitask, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environmentHighly organized, methodical, disciplined, and detail-orientedBilingual in English and Spanish preferred, team-focused and with the ability to hold others accountablePhysical and Work Related Requirements:Standing and walking for long periods of timeRepetitive motion for long periods of timeBending and lifting up to 70 LBAbility to handle allergens including peanuts and treenuts
