Senior Business AnalystThe Senior Business Analyst role is responsible for supporting the Banking Operations teams in data analytics tasks, Operational Excellence initiatives, system enhancements/implementation, and design & implementation of medium- to large-scale projects. This position will handle large amounts of data and design feasible solutions, and act as a liaison between the solution end users and the business partners (such as IT, Enterprise Project Management, etc.) and/or 3rd party vendors. This position will also be responsible for the management of Banking Operations projects, development of system business requirements and perform User Acceptance test.
This position is also responsible for coaching and leading junior team members, especially during the delivery cycles.ResponsibilitiesLead among all business partners (IT, 3rd party vendor, operational users SME) to design feasible technical solutions in medium to large projectsLead and write business requirements for projects and work with IT and/or 3rd party vendors to ensure successful deliveryDesign and perform system integration test to ensure a system and/or interface functions working as expectedManage project implementation, and present project progress update to the senior management teamIdentify the opportunities for data report automation and work with IT to materialize such opportunitiesConduct data analysis and generate management reports based on the user requestsDevelop and implement enhanced process flow to improve operational efficiencyCompile and maintain the documentation for critical applications, reports and daily business analytics processesProvide coaching, support and training to other business analystsPerform other business analytic tasks as requestedMay perform other duties as assignedQualificationsMaster's degree in finance, business, engineering, science or related fields or equivalent work experienceMinimum 5 to 7 years' experience in banking analytics, working knowledge in banking regulationsDemonstrable experience in process automation design and implementationExcellent analytical skills, with experience performing complex data analysisExcellent written, verbal and comprehension communication skills requiredA self-starter, who can effectively navigate a complex organizational structure, achieving results through influence and collaborationAbility to multi-task with attention to detail, adapt quickly to changes and work effectively in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills and intermediate SQL skills requiredWorking knowledge in IBS Insight, LPS, SAP Business Intelligence, and Passport applications are preferredLeadership skills requiredApplicants must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
