Software EngineerThe Software Engineer position will be responsible for hands-on development as well as lead the development of Next Generation Enterprise solutions for Global eCommerce.SE will be responsible for application development in support of the multi-platform roadmap.Responsible for application architecture, ensure high performance, scalability and availability for those applications.Areas of responsibility include:Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standardDrives technical vision and influences product roadmap and visionImplement large-scale, complex, cross-functional projectsLeads the discovery phase of large projects to develop high level designSupervise the work of cross-functional groups of engineers, including offshore associatesDirects root cause analysis of critical business and production issuesDocuments testing and maintenance of application corrections and improvementsInfluence decisions, builds consensus, and resolves conflicts constructively and proactivelySupports business objectives and ensures the business needs are being metMinimum qualifications:Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems5+ years of experience in eCommerce Software development5+ years of programming experience in architecting highly scalable & performing Web Applications3+ years of experience with Open Source technologies3+ years of developing / architecting high transaction high throughput systems is a must2+ years of experience with integrating 3rd party solutions in existing architecture2+ years of developing / architecting high transaction high throughput systems is a must2+ years of experience in agile ways of working in a distributed geographical modelDescription:Develops innovation strategies, processes, and best practices.Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects.Supports and ensures business objectives being met.Leads the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design.Leads the work of other small group of 3 to 4 engineers for assigned Engineering projectsLeads and participates in end to end service implementations, data feeds ingestion, and orchestration.Designs and implements low latency services.Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.Troubleshoots business and production issues.Required Skills: Ecommerce Additional Skills: Project Manager
