Automotive NX Designers and Engineers – New Program with many openings

Full-time

Location: Portland, Oregon

OLSA Resources is a national leader in engineering for over 18 years. We’re hiring automotive designers with 7.5 or higher NX experience. Candidates must design and develop products using NX 7.5 or higher, package OEM supplied parts and data, create concept and feasibility studies, and produce production release GD&T detailed and assembly drawings that meet company standards and specifications.

• Electrical 3D Routing

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in NX CAD Engineering
• Ability to utilize drafting designer tools including NX7.5 or higher
• Create good surfaces and tangencies of mating surfaces
• Experience in mechanical design
• Ability to perform tolerance stack-ups
• Create GD&T detailed and assembly drawings
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Understanding of design for various manufacturing processes
• BOM, Bill of Material software experience

Education

• Bachelor’s degree and 1‑3 years’ experience
• Associate’s degree and 3‑4 years’ experience
• 6+ years’ of related automotive or heavy truck experience required
