This role focuses on enterprise level automation, ensuring reliable system performance, rapid troubleshooting, and continuous improvement aligned with operational needs and safety standards.Job Responsibilities:Design, program, and commission PLC-based control systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens).Develop and support HMIs and SCADA systems (Ignition preferred).Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues in live production environmentsSupport plant operations to improve uptime, quality, and performanceAssist in execution of automation and capital improvement projectsCollaborate with plant personnel, maintenance, and engineering teamsMaintain and improve control system documentation and standardsApply safety standards and best practices to all automation solutionsIdentify and implement process improvements using automation technologiesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley or Siemens)Experience supporting industrial control systems in a manufacturing environment3 years of relevant experience (a combination of education and experience equivalent to 3 years in a related field will be considered.)Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications:Ignition SCADA experienceBasic understanding of system integration (OPC, SQL, networking)Experience with industrial robotics (e.g., Yaskawa Motoman / MLX)Exposure to AGVs/AMRs or automated material handling systemsAutoCAD 2D experienceCore Competencies:Technical expertise in industrial automation and controlsStrong troubleshooting and analytical thinkingEffective communication and collaboration with plant teamsHigh attention to detail and documentation disciplineContinuous improvement mindsetKey Competencies:1.
