The ideal candidate will set up and operate various drying, oil processing, dry air, and other processing equipment associated with the manufacturing of power transformers.

In addition, they will also perform the basic mechanical assembly tasks associated with manufacturing power transformers.OUR BENEFITS – BEST BENEFITS IN THE INDUSTRY!Free Medical Insurance Option – A company paid 100% medical insurance option for you and your family, effective on the first day of the month after hire dateFree Life Insurance – Employer paid basic life insurance – 1X Annual salary plus an additional $20,000 coverage: Optional buy for dependent coveragePaid Vacation, Sick Leave, and 12 paid holidays per yearTuition AssistanceBonuses – Monthly Attendance (production and some other hourly roles), Annual, and Quarterly bonus eligibility (Bonuses are not guaranteed and are based on several factors such as company and individual performance)THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:Perform basic operations on various machines and equipment relating to the drying, oil processing, dry air, and other processes of power transformersPerform manufacturing tasks such as basic mechanical assembly, loading and unloading of machinery and operation of non-CNC equipment; hand tools, measurement equipment and oil filling equipment as examplesPerform basic tasks to move liquid materials within tank farm and from tank farm to factoryPerform basic tasks in the setup and operation of oil purification, oil heating, and other oil handling equipmentPerform operation of complicated machines and equipment with rigid tolerancesAssist in the preparation of work to meet manufacturing and schedule requirements.Confirm quality criteria is properly inspected, verified and documented during manufacturing to ensure product meets specifications, tolerances, prints and customers order requirements, Identify and correct defects appropriatelyPerform basic electrical tests to confirm proper wiring and insulation per specificationFollow prints, bills of material, specifications and work instructions to determine proper component parts for processing, assembly and installationFollow and comply with standard work procedures and sequence of operations to consistently meet manufacturing standards for safety, quality, cost, and productivitySafely move, handle and store materials without damaging itemsPerform TPM tasks as directed for each job or areaPractice 6S and adhere to all safety rules, guidelines and safe working practicesSafely operate material handling and lifting equipment such as overhead cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, motorized scissors lifts and work platforms, and air transportersAssist other manufacturing areas as neededSupport and assist the Manufacturing Supervisor or Manufacturing Manager as neededPerform basic preventative maintenance and TPM on equipment and machinesAssist with completing process check sheets according to Company proceduresUnderstand and work under the direction of the appropriate Hyosung HICO policy and/or procedureKnow Hyosung HICO's Quality and Environmental Policies.
