Job Summary

ADP is hiring a Sales Representative, Small Business Services to target and acquire clients 1‑49 employees. The role focuses on selling payroll, tax, HR, benefits and related solutions, and on growing existing accounts through additional sales.

Responsibilities

• Grow the business and achieve sales goals independently and collaboratively within the assigned geography.
• Turn prospects into loyal clients by implementing a sales strategy targeting decision‑makers and business owners.
• Deepen relationships across the ADP family by selling cloud‑based HR solutions and capturing additional business within existing accounts.
• Collaborate daily as a trusted advisor, partner and ADP ambassador to clients and internal stakeholders, demonstrating grace under pressure and high ethical standards.

Required Qualifications

• Positive self‑starter with an upbeat, persistent style and ability to cold‑call without fear of rejection.
• Strong time‑management skills and the ability to present ideas clearly in writing, face‑to‑face and over the phone.
• Agile solution seeker – a problem solver who can adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
• Continuous learner – always looking to grow and improve processes.
• College degree is advantageous but not required; relevant experience may include retail, marketing, business development, food service, insurance sales, or military experience that demonstrates teamwork, adaptability and organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior quota‑carrying experience.
• Proven ability to build a network and use social media effectively for sales.

Compensation

Base salary range: $34,100–$73,600 per year, plus uncapped commissions and incentive trips. Additional compensation may include bonus, equity or commissions.
