Associate Attorney - LitigationThe OpportunityThis role offers the chance to take ownership of a diverse civil litigation caseload and gain meaningful courtroom experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling all phases of litigation, including motion practice, discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.What You'll DoManage civil litigation matters throughout the litigation lifecycle with appropriate supervision.Meet with clients to evaluate legal issues and develop litigation strategies.Conduct legal and factual research, including witness interviews, deposition review, and evidence analysis.Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.Handle discovery, including written discovery and document review.Take and defend depositions of parties, experts, and third-party witnesses.Appear at hearings and argue motions on behalf of clients.Participate in hearings, trials, and other court proceedings as required.Negotiate and assist clients with settlement agreements and case resolution.What We're Looking ForJ.D. from an accredited law school and active Washington State Bar membership (or ability to become licensed in Washington).At least 5 years of civil litigation experience.Strong motion practice experience is required.Ability to independently manage litigation matters while collaborating with supervising attorneys.Experience conducting discovery and depositions.Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.Client-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.BenefitsMedical, dental and vision insuranceRetirement Plan with Matching ContributionsPaid VacationGenerous Bonus Plan
