TheOpportunity
The Assistant Vice President is responsible for supporting Client Service Professionals (CSPs) in the administration and fiduciary oversight of a diverse portfolio of alternative investment funds while regularly engaging with clients and third-party service providers. The role serves as an important link between internal and external parties, helping to deliver exceptional client service, maintain strong operational controls, and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Keydutieswillinclude:
- Supportbusinessdevelopmentinitiativesbyparticipatinginnewbusinessenquiries,analysingproposedstructures,reviewingtransactiondocumentsandprovidingcommentstorelevantstakeholdersasappropriate,andcoordinatingourclientacceptanceandonboardingprocesses
- Developandmaintainstrongworkingrelationshipswithexternalstakeholders,includinglegalcounsel,investmentmanagers,fundadministrators,primebrokers,andothertransactionpartiesacrossmultipleinternationaljurisdictions.
- SupportthefinancialstatementreviewprocessforCSPs,includingthereviewandanalysisoffinancialstatements,managementrepresentationletters,engagementletters,andotherrequireddocumentation,whileprovidingtimelyandsubstantivefeedback.
- AssistCSPswiththepreparation,review,andsubmissionofU.S.andforeigntax-relateddocumentationtoensurecompliancewithapplicablefilingrequirementsanddeadlines.
- SupportCSPsinachievingquarterlykeyperformanceindicator(KPI)objectivesandbroaderbusinessgoals.
- Serveasthedesignatedadministratorforalimitedportfoliooffiduciarymandates,ensuringefficientandcompliantday-to-dayadministration.
- Participateinconferencecalls,boardmeetings,andotherclient-facingengagementsasrequired.
- Maintainaccurateandup-to-dateclientandtransactioninformationwithininternalsystemsanddatabases,ensuringtheintegrityofdataandrecordsrelatedtoassignedclientportfoliosandbusinessdevelopmentactivities.
- Coordinatethepreparationandtimelydistributionofclientinvoicesinaccordancewithapplicableadministrationagreements.AssistCorporateAdministratorsandCSPswithbillingrequirementsforbothexistingandnewlyonboardedclientmandates.
- Contributetothedevelopmentofteamcapabilitiesbypreparinganddeliveringtrainingsessionsandknowledge-sharinginitiativesasneeded.

- Minimumof3to4yearsofexperienceinthefinancialservicesindustry;experienceinback-ormiddle-officefunctionsorarelateddisciplineispreferred.
- Understandingofinvestmentfunds,alternativeinvestmentstructures,andrelatedsecurities.
