🏗️ Assistant Superintendent – Concrete Experience | South Florida
I’m working with an established General Contractor looking to add an Assistant Superintendent to their field team in South Florida.
They’re looking for someone with hands-on experience working through concrete construction who understands the pace, coordination and attention to detail required on large ground-up projects.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assist the Superintendent with daily field operations
- Coordinate concrete trades, crews and subcontractors
- Support formwork, rebar, embeds and concrete pours
- Track daily progress against the construction schedule
- Coordinate inspections and ensure work is ready ahead of pours
- Monitor quality, safety and site conditions
- Help manage logistics, deliveries and manpower
- Review drawings and identify potential field conflicts
- Complete daily reports, QA/QC documentation and field tracking
- Work closely with the Superintendent to keep production moving
What they’re looking for:
- 2+ years of field construction experience
- Strong concrete construction experience
- Ground-up commercial, multifamily or high-rise experience preferred
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Strong communication and subcontractor coordination skills
- Someone looking to develop into a Superintendent
