Associate Registrar For SchedulingReporting to the University Registrar, the Associate Registrar for Scheduling provides subject matter expertise in the areas of academic calendars, class scheduling, space management, and transfer course articulations.Maintain university academic calendarsManage university scheduling software and serve as primary contact for university scheduling softwareSchedule classes needing space in the university classroom pool in a conflict free mannerSchedule events for departments and faculty in a conflict free mannerAssist the Registrar's Office and Student Affairs in general with any special projects as needed or determined by the University Registrar and/or Vice President of Student AffairsServe as primary backup for the Associate Registrar and Assistant Registrar for Course ManagementEnsure compliance with courses meeting minimum instructional timeCoordinate with colleges on academic schedulingPresent to individual colleges and the university at large on scheduling and space data as requestedManage global transfer course articulationsSupport front desk, answering phones and assisting walk-ins as neededServe on committees as neededServe on faculty senate as needed on a rolling basisOther duties as assignedMinimum Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate discipline. Course work related to Education Public Administration or Data Analytics preferred. A minimum of two years related administrative higher education program and student support experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft and Google products, such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, GMAIL, Google Sheets, and Google Docs Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and multi-task efficiently and effectively. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Additional Desirable Qualifications Knowledge of higher education accreditation standards and reporting responsibilities. Knowledge of federal, state, and institutional higher education policies and practices.
Prior experience working with university ERP systems, especially Ellucian Colleague. Physical Requirements Ability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
