Function/Duties of Position

The Division of Pediatric Neurology provides clinical care to pediatric patients at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, a 151-bed hospital-within-a-hospital affiliated with OHSU. The division emphasizes scholarship, research, advocacy, teaching, and high-quality clinical care. This position may serve as a consultant to other inpatient services, with the majority of clinical service delivered in outpatient clinics or virtually. The role includes specialized care for children and adolescents with autoimmune, inflammatory, and demyelinating disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system, while maintaining a broad general pediatric neurology practice. The position shares night and weekend on-call responsibilities. The division supports educational activities for medical students, residents, and clinical care teams, and offers intensified training and mentorship to pediatric and adult neurology residents. Members are encouraged to participate in translational research and clinical trials.

Required Qualifications

MD or DO, eligible for Oregon medical licensure, DEA certificate, board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Neurology.
