This role will focus on Tire Rubber Compound/Material Testing at the Maxxis Technology Center.Responsibilities:Conduct rubber compounding and tire material testingCollect, enter and analyze report dataPerform routine equipment maintenanceProblem solve and effectively communicate with other employees/customersWork with Microsoft Word documents and Excel spreadsheetsKey CompetenciesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work with a team on dynamic projectsAbility to collaborate with others to find creative solutionsQualifications:Bachelor's degree OR currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in an engineering/chemistry related field AND one (1) year of rubber and/or tire industry or lab experienceAn Assistant Engineer must be detail oriented, organized and highly accurate, and use effective means for checking accuracy of information.
