Assistant Controller

Salary $75,000-$80,000

We are looking for an Assistant Controller to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
• Preparing management reports
• Inventory control and Quality control
• Assist in the formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with legislation and established best practices
• Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
• Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
• Support most aspects of accounting management (billing, tax forms, reporting etc.)
• Learn all aspects of the accounting system and managing accounting personnel

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

• Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Adobe
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills'

Job Duties:

• Preparing financial statements and reports.
• Preparing management reports,
• Auditing inventory control and quality control.
• Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts
• Bank Reconciliation.
• Assisting with annual audit preparations and reports.
• Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
• Preparing sales tax returns.
• Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures. xhqgsiq
• Performing other accounting duties and managing accounting personnel.
