We are very passionate about the products we make and are extremely committed to being at the forefront in developing tomorrow's weapons technologies.As a part of our Assembly Team, you will be working in a warehouse/shop environment. You will be following standard processes to assemble our products to the most current Quality Standard using a combination of hand tools. You will perform setups and builds within the prescribed cycle times in order to meet the scheduled deadlines.

You will maintain and clean your area. You will be asked to test rifles and must do so in accordance to Company Standard Operating Procedures. You will learn the key fundamentals of success in a production environment and assist in process development, improvement, and implementation of 5S and Lean Manufacturing in order to exceed the standard.If you like working with your hands and being around friendly people in a great work environment, an Assembly Tech at Desert Tech is the rewarding job you have been looking for.Hours of operation: Mon – Thu, 5AM - 3:30PM (OT as Necessary)Key Responsibilities:Use tools and equipment to complete assembliesFollow standard processes to assemble products to the most current quality standardFollow all rules and regulations in accordance to State and Federal Law, and Company policies to stay in compliancePerform self-assessment of work which will include; visual inspection, physical manipulation of moving parts, and then sequential review of colleagues work which may require constructive feedbackCleaning and packaging of Desert Tech productsAdhere to Desert Tech Health, Safety, and Quality guidelines in the Desert Tech facilityMaintain a high level of safety in and around the Assembly and Machine Shop areaEnsure that all documentation is correct including quantities and other recordsPerform all other duties as assigned by ManagementMinimum Requirements:Must be able to pass a Background CheckAbility to lift up to 25 poundsDriver's LicenseAble to sit or stand for long periods of timeAbility to handle and test firearmsRead, write, speak, and understand EnglishAdditional Qualifications:Ability to work in a Team environment with other colleaguesAbility to embrace change and participate in continuous improvement activityLean Manufacturing and 5S ExperienceTrained and knowledgeable in firearm safety and operationFirearm Industry experienceAssembly / Production ExperienceGood Hand-Eye Coordination / Mechanical AptitudeGood problem-solving skillsBenefits:Medical, Dental, and VisionLife & Accident Insurance7 paid holidays2 weeks paid vacation year 1, 3 weeks paid vacation year 2-4, 4 weeks paid vacation year 5$2K Tuition ReimbursementEmployee Demo Rifle ProgramEmployee Pricing on all Desert Tech products & industry partnersAnniversary Rifle Program
