Mechanical Assembler Opportunity in CamarilloNew opportunity in Camarillo for an experienced Mechanical Assembler. Hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm with some overtime required. Sets up equipment, prepares compounds and processes a variety of assemblies, such as standard connectors and special connectors following written and verbal instructions.Responsibilities:Setup equipment to meet product standards for identification, shell painting, retainer loading, contact painting, wire cutting, riveting, contact crimping and contact hoodingWeigh, mix and identify items such as inks, paints, adhesives, molding compounds and potting materialsFollow intermediate drawings and proceduresPerform connector assembliesWorking hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMSkills:Ability to recognize and inform supervision of assembly problems and equipment breakdownAble to interface with customers if necessaryEducation:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:1-2 years experience in related mechanical manufacturing assembly operationsHigh School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.Good manual dexterity to assemble small and intricate partsAbility to use calculatorsAbility to lift 30 lbs.
