Project CoordinatorProject Coordinator - is responsible to provide general administrative support to the Project Team for a variety of projects.Essential Functions:Working with construction management softwareLogging and processing submittals, RFI and other project documentationProvides general administrative support to the Project Team including correspondence processing, distribution, and routine filing.Coordinate schedules of project team for meetings and training as needed.Provide administrative support such as conducting research, assisting on the preparation statistical reports, and handling information requests.Assists project team in preparing written materials including applications, correspondence, reports, procedures, forms, and guidelines during construction for better document controlReview, proofread, and edit project related documentsPreparing and documenting meeting minutes as neededAssists processing pay applicationsEnters project data into program management software system.Communicate with project manager, construction administrator and professional consultants as neededFamiliar with construction/ project close out processRequirements:Competencies:Experience working on construction management programs and/or on a construction job siteExperience working with architecture/engineering firmExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Knowledge of construction administration, procedures, and project related recordkeeping systems.Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new project related software.Certification Requirements: Certifications are not necessarySupervisory Requirements: NoneWork Environment: This position operates in a professional open office environment with low to moderate noise levels including collaborative work areas for team meetings. Each office provides collaborative work areas and shared resources such as video conferencing, printing/scanning, and a café for dining. Building construction site visits commonly include outdoor conditions with varying temperatures, rain, wind, dust, and noise levels and will require familiarity with construction job site safety protocol.

Construction site conditions may include walking across uneven surfaces, climbing stairs and ladders.Physical Demands: Hand/Wrist/Finger dexterity for 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. Ability to lift a set of construction documents. Ability to sit for long periods of time.

Ability to traverse a construction site with uneven surfaces and different levels.Position Type/Hours expected to work: This is a full-time position with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per weekTravel: Occasional travelRequired Education and Experience: 4-year degree from an accredited college or university preferred. A minimum of two years of administrative experience in a fast-paced office environmentWork Authorization: Sponsorship may be considered
