Architectural Business DeveloperAs an Architectural Business Developer, you collaborate with your team to develop projects from start to finish. You see projects through from the programming/conceptual design phase to the completion of the construction administration. Your attention to detail is essential as you prepare construction documents.

We have 13 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.ResponsibilitiesProject administration, scheduling and coordinationInteraction with client and subconsultantsUtilizes staff to develop plans, details and opinions of probable costsMentors and trains staffExhibiting a keen interest in a high standard of quality and accuracyVisits construction sites to observe progress and conformance to plans and specificationsCollaborates with Parkhill's marketing department to improve existing marketing materials to present to potential clientsAdjusts priorities when appropriate and performs other duties assigned to meet sector goalsServes as a trusted advisor for clients in resolving issues that ariseDrives increased revenue and profit to achieve Parkhill’s ambitious growth targetsDevelops and maintains relationships with target prospectsAssists the marketing team to develop proposals and respond to RFPsDevelops and mentors upcoming professionalsQualificationsRegistered architect in the state of Texas or eligible to achieve through reciprocity.At least 10 years of architecture design experience in municipal projects.Proficiency in Revit Architecture, Microsoft Word & Excel, Bluebeam, and Sketchup.Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management Software systems.15+ years of previous municipal design experience is preferred.Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of successfully pitching for new business.Possess the ability to build positive relationships with clients (ISD, Municipal, County) subconsultants, general public, and co-workers at all levels.Must have excellent command of the English language, excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads.Ability to interact with clients (ISD, Municipal, County) and subconsultants.Benefits and PerksWe offer a comprehensive benefits program that supports the whole person.
