Approvals Test EngineerPerform detailed product analysis and hands-on product testing to verify compliance and will then interface with regulatory agencies to create and prepare the submission materials to acquire certification. Safety and/or performance standards.
Experience with hazardous location and/or performance standards (FM, CSA, ATEX, IECEx) is desired. Create test plans and oversee and interpret the test results in compliance. At least 3 years of experience in testing products and at least 1 year in approvals/compliance engineering. Strong working knowledge of product development processes particularly verification and validation testing. Bachelor's degree (Electrical Engineering 4+yrs).
