Applications Specialist I

Position Summary:  Responsible as technical resource for outside salespeople, customers, and factories trouble shooting problems in the office and field technical assistance as required.  Works under general supervision.   Position Responsibilities:Prepares controls layouts and specificationsPrepares submittals as neededPerform material takeoffsProvides problem investigation and analysis in the office or field, as requiredProvides pre-site visits before work is scheduled as requiredDevelop specific goals and plans to organize, prioritize, and accomplish workMaintain knowledge of currently represented productsMaintain project filesMaintain and update AutoCad Blocks and Bluebeam symbols for all represented factoriesReview and close out projects as requiredOther duties as assigned by managerEssential Skills:Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written Intermediate level of AutoCad requiredAbility to multi-task and make decisions quicklyMust have project planning and scheduling skillsMust be available to travelMust be proficient on Word, Excel, Outlook and Bluebeam
