You bring a hands-on approach to silicon bring-up, lab debug, and technical problem-solving, while also operating as a trusted technical advisor across customer and internal engineering teams. You are comfortable working through ambiguous issues, influencing outcomes across functions, and helping customers succeed with advanced IP integration.What You'll Be Doing:Leading complex customer engagements for the integration, bring-up, and deployment of Memory Interface PHY IP, including HBM, DDR, and LPDDR, as well as Controller IP solutionsDriving technical resolution of significant customer issues involving integration, silicon bring-up, debug, and deployment across complex design environmentsServing as a key technical interface between customers and internal engineering teams to align on requirements, resolve issues, and accelerate adoptionDelivering technical presentations, training, and guidance that strengthen customer understanding and successful deployment of Synopsys solutionsCreating and improving technical documentation, collateral, and enablement materials that increase product usability and scalabilityContributing expert insight to product and engineering teams based on customer feedback, field experience, and emerging technical needsStaying current with evolving interface and memory protocols such as DDR5, LPDDR6, MRDIMM2, HBM4, PCIe, Ethernet, and UCIeSupporting customer engagements globally, including occasional travel of up to 15–20%, depending on locationThe Impact You Will Have:Strengthen customer success by helping solve complex integration and bring-up challenges in high-impact design environmentsAccelerate adoption of Synopsys Memory Interface and Interface IP through expert technical engagement and trusted customer partnershipImprove product usability, documentation, and deployment readiness through field-informed technical insightInfluence product improvements by bringing customer needs, technical patterns, and deployment feedback back into engineering discussionsContribute measurable impact to department goals through deep technical expertise, strong customer engagement, and cross-functional collaborationReinforce Synopsys' leadership in advanced interface IP through high-quality technical problem-solving and customer supportWhat You'll Need:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field, ideally with a VLSI focus10+ years of industry experience with Memory Interface IP such as DDR, LPDDR, and HBM, or other Interface IP including PCIe, Ethernet, and UCIeDeep experience with customer-facing applications engineering, technical support, or deployment of complex IP solutionsHands-on experience with silicon bring-up, lab debug, and post-silicon technical problem-solvingStrong understanding of Controller IPs, AMBA bus interfaces, AXI, backend engineering, and ASIC design flowsProficiency in Linux, Verilog and/or VHDL, and relevant ASIC development environmentsStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across customer teams and internal functionsWho You Are:A highly capable technical leader who can work independently on complex customer and engineering challengesA trusted problem-solver who brings sound judgment to ambiguous and technically significant issuesA strong collaborator who can influence outcomes across customer and internal cross-functional teamsAn effective communicator who can translate technical complexity into practical guidance and enablementA continuous learner who stays current in evolving interface technologies and customer needsThe Team You'll Be A Part Of:You will be part of a global team of engineers focused on customer success and technical excellence in Memory Interface IP solutions.
