Our client in Wilmington, DE is seeking anInformation Security Software Engineer to design, implement, and maintain information security systems, programs, and security-as-code. This role will work closely with architects, developers, and business units to protect sensitive data and minimize cyber risks.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure API integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure seamless integration.
- Maintain and enhance existing APIs for performance and functionality.
- Build workflows and pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in API development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, IS, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of coding experience inPython andJava .
- Strong understanding of API design principles.
- Experience with testing and documentation tools (Postman, Swagger).
- Familiarity with authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT).
- Ability to develop and implement custom solutions.
- Ability to be onsite 4 days a week
