Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of business solutions that enhance core banking platforms and other enterprise applications.
• Manage and supervise core development teams across scrum teams and business lines, ensuring efficient resource allocation and project delivery.
• Collaborate with internal teams and the Enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Foster a team-oriented work environment that values diversity, promotes teamwork, and encourages professional development.
• Implement processes for continuous improvement and innovation in application management practices.
• Review code and ensure solutions adhere to company coding, compliance, and information security standards.
• Influence external vendors and contribute to the strategic roadmap for our application architecture.

Required Skills and Experience

• 6+ years of experience with financial institution technologies, including Jack Henry (Symitar, Synapsys, Synergy, SymXchange, ARCU), MeridianLink, Encompass, Alkami, and more.
• Strong experience in software development methodologies, version control, and testing practices.
• Proven leadership and people management experience with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and motivating teams.
• Ability to influence executive leadership and drive projects in an agile environment.
• Hands‑on experience developing and integrating core banking applications (Symitar/PowerOn/RepGen).
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with IBM’s AIX operating system.
• Familiarity with the ITIL framework and experience implementing engineering processes and procedures.
