Join our team as an Anesthesia Tech and play a vital role in supporting patient care during anesthesia procedures.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assist in the care of patients undergoing anesthesia by preparing equipment and ensuring cleanliness
- Communicate continuously with anesthesiologists and other staff to meet their needs
- Operate the cell-saver machine and participate in advanced surgical cases
- Ensure anesthesia equipment is in good working order and perform preventive maintenance
- Assist in the development and implementation of in-service training programs
- Perform troubleshooting and set up of anesthesia equipment
- Provide backup support to the shift supervisor as needed
What We Need To See
- Current BLS certification
- At least two years of experience as an Anesthesia Tech
Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd
- Certification by the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists or other recognized certifying body
- Four-year college education with related technical training
- Two-year college education with technical training and two years of experience
