As a Texas Instruments Equipment Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in a vibrant and dynamic team oriented environment.Responsibilities include:Evaluating, selecting, and installing equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for automating the operational flow of company productsCollaborating with Smart Manufacturing & Automation domain to align on sustainable, global solutions for legacy operationsOverseeing the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipmentKeeping current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issuesDesigning and implementing unique solutions to tackle problems that don't have a predefined path to resolutionStudying equipment performance and reliabilityEstablishing programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing processProviding technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizationsDefining and writing preventative maintenance schedulesQualificationsMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering or related engineering degreeMinimum of 2 years of relevant experience working in a manufacturing environment as an Equipment Engineer with AMHS and/or mobile platforms and/or 6-axis robotsPreferred Qualifications:Equipment experience with Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS), AGV or AMR platforms, industrial and collaborative 6 axis arm robots, or wafer sortersExperience working in a Semiconductor manufacturing environment as an Equipment Engineer with AMHS and/or mobile platforms and/or 6-axis robotsPrior experience with Semiconductor process groups and/or factory operationsKnowledge of coding languages such as python, JavaScript, htmlStrong analytical problem solving skills, comfortable working with data to get to root cause and using data to drive decision makingExperience on tool monitoring and interdiction software, and equipment maintenance and documentationWorking knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, and SPC techniques.
