RRT - ECMO Specialist
We are seeking a skilled RRT - ECMO Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in respiratory care, specifically in ECMO management.
Shift Requirements
Shift: 3x12 Nights (18:30 - 07:00) with occasional day shift coverage as needed
Weekend Requirement: Will work every other weekend
Guaranteed Hours: Subject to cancellation policy where up to 3 shifts may be canceled without penalty
Position Requirements
Minimum of 2 years as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and 1 year as an ECMO Specialist required
First-timers accepted with a minimum of 1 year of ECMO specialist experience
Local applicants not accepted; must live more than 100 miles from the facility to apply
Pending Licenses accepted, but must be active at the start
Request time off (RTO) ideally should not exceed 5 days

Clinical Experience Required
Adult Critical Care Experience
Airway Management: including endotracheal tube placement, extubation, intubation assist, nasal and oropharyngeal airway management, and tracheostomy care
Care of patients with ARDS, Aspiration, Bronchoscopy, COVID-19, ECMO, fresh tracheostomy, and Pneumonia
Medication Administration: including albuterol, Atrovent, Flovent, Mucomyst, Nitric Oxide, and more
Ventilator Management: experience with BiPAP, CPAP, and troubleshooting high-pressure alarms
Arterial puncture experience required

Parking is available at a flat rate per hour, applicable to all shifts.

Must be open to floating as needed within the scope of practice to meet facility requirements. Schedule requests may be discussed with the manager.
