This position is responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving sales of replacement dust collector filters to large industrial production facilities. This pivotal role will work across different departments with the primary goal of hunting for and acquiring new business.Ideal candidates will have:A strong understanding of industrial filtration systemsPrior business development or new business acquisition experienceThe ability to leverage success stories and case studies to drive sales within targeted accountsThis is a hybrid role based out of our Bloomington, MN office.Role Responsibilities:Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth by selling replacement dust collector filters to large industrial manufacturing facilitiesIdentify and target potential clients, focusing on key decision-makers in manufacturing, mining, food, pharmaceutical, metalworking and other industrial sectors.Through market research, cold calls, customer contact and other means, identifies sales opportunities and leads to secure new end user businessEngage and connect all our sales channels including field sales, direct sales, dealer partners, and resellers to secure new business at identified accountsLead sales presentations, pricing negotiations, business and product proposals, and other communications designed to drive salesEnsure customer satisfaction by completing quotes, reviewing business opportunities, and answering technical questionsServe as primary point-of-contact to national accounts - build relationships, navigate complex/matrix organizations, identify specific customer needs and application for filtrationAssist in the development of sales and marketing promotions focused on strategic end user customersMaintain relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential accounts utilizing Microsoft Dynamics CRMTravel: Up to 30%Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree3+ years of outside sales experience1+ year of experience acquiring new business or new customersPreferred Qualifications:Self-starter motivated by closing salesPrevious experience selling in an industrial or manufacturing environmentStrong time management skillsExcellent listening, negotiation, presentation abilities and collaboration skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong mechanical/technical aptitude and ability to learn new technologiesDemonstrated use of solid public relations skills, a polished/professional demeanor, and ability to present to groups or individuals in a persuasive mannerKey words: Industrial, dust collection, new business, business development, hunting, filtration, salesDonaldson Company has been made aware that there are several recruiting scams that are targeting job seekers.
