Assembler Level 3The Assembler Level 3 is responsible for assembling complex components and subassemblies into finished products while ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This position requires a high level of mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.ResponsibilitiesAssemble components and subassemblies into completed products according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.Perform complex mechanical assemblies using a variety of hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and measuring equipment.Inspect parts and completed assemblies to ensure they meet dimensional, visual, and quality specifications.Verify product acceptance using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve minor assembly or fit-up issues while maintaining product quality.Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and manufacturing documentation.Maintain accurate production and quality records as required.Handle materials and components carefully to prevent damage during the assembly process.Maintain measuring equipment in good working condition and use it in a manner that prevents damage or loss of calibration.Follow all company safety policies, quality procedures, and manufacturing standards.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards.Assist in training and mentoring lower-level assemblers as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsThree or more years of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferred.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and written work instructions.Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Work EnvironmentThe position is based in the shop on the floor. The work environment requires adherence to safety policies, quality procedures, and manufacturing standards while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, WA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
