A large regional health system in Augusta, Georgia is seeking Gastroenterology Hospitalists with advanced ERCP experience to join a highly collaborative inpatient GI team.
This position offers a 7 on / 7 off schedule , strong procedural volume, and excellent hospital support in a physician-led environment.
Position Highlights
- 7 on / 7 off schedule (7 AM – 7 PM)
- No overnight call
- Inpatient GI hospitalist model
- APP support for inpatient rounding
- Advanced ERCP required
- Mix of consults and procedures
- Dedicated procedural block time
- Epic EMR
- J-1 waiver available
Clinical Practice
Physicians manage a steady inpatient consult service while performing endoscopic procedures with full hospital support.
Typical workload includes:
- 5–8 inpatient consults per day
- 3-5 Col onoscopies
- 1-2 a dvanced GI procedures
Compensation & Benefits
- $650,000 – $750,000 base compensation
- Additional RVU production incentives
