The role provides proactive operational, administrative, and coordination support while exercising discretion, sound judgment, and executive presence in all interactions. This position functions as a critical role to the CISO—serving as a gatekeeper, trusted partner, and integrator across Information Security Services (ISS), Technology, Risk, Legal, Audit, and senior enterprise leadership across various business lines. The position requires trust, maturity, and judgment commensurate with supporting one of the organization's most visible and high impact executive roles.Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive Support & EnablementProvide comprehensive administrative support to the CISO, including complex calendar management, travel coordination, expense reporting, and daily schedule prioritizationAnticipate needs and proactively manage competing demands on the CISO's time, ensuring focus on the highest value activitiesPrepare the CISO for meetings by coordinating materials, tracking follow ups, and ensuring readiness for executive level engagementsStakeholder Coordination & CommunicationServe as a primary point of contact for internal and external executive stakeholders, representing the CISO with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgmentCoordinate communications across ISS leadership, business executives, and enterprise partners to ensure clarity, timeliness, and alignmentManage sensitive and confidential correspondence, information, and materials with the highest degree of integrity and confidentialityGovernance, Meetings & Cadence ManagementPlan, coordinate, and support executive meetings, including leadership team meetings, governance forums, and ad hoc executive sessionsTrack action items, decisions, and key deliverables, ensuring follow through and accountability across participantsSupport preparation for Board, risk committee, audit, and regulatory related meetings by coordinating schedules, materials, and logisticsOperational & Administrative LeadershipHelp manage the operational routine of the ISS executive office, including recurring deliverables, planning cycles, and leadership cadencesIdentify opportunities to improve administrative processes, workflows, and tooling to increase efficiency and reduce frictionAct as a stabilizing presence during periods of high intensity, incident response, or executive escalationTrusted Partner to the CISOExercise independent judgment in handling inquiries, requests, and issues on behalf of the CISOMaintain situational awareness of ISS priorities, key initiatives, and leadership dynamics to provide informed supportUphold the CISO's standards, style, and expectations in all interactions and communicationsQualificationsHigh school diplomaTypically five or more years of experience in administrative and support staff activities, preferably at the SVP, EVP, or C suite levelCommitment to working in U.S. Bank Plaza building in downtown Minneapolis per the location expectations noted belowPreferred Experience & SkillsPrior experience supporting a CISO, CIO, CRO, or equivalent risk/technology executiveFamiliarity with cybersecurity, technology, risk, or regulatory environmentsProven to work independently with minimal direction in a fast-moving executive settingKeen situational judgment and diplomacy when navigating competing priorities and executive personalitiesContinuous improvement mindset with a bias toward proactive problem solvingDemonstrated experience operating in large, complex, or highly regulated environments (e.g., financial services, technology, healthcare)Exceptional organizational, time management, and prioritization skillsProven skills in handling sensitive information and matters of discretion with professionalism and confidentialityEffective in not only written and verbal communications but in interacting confidently with senior executives as wellAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Copilot)Bachelor's degree or higherLocation ExpectationsThis role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.If there's anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.Benefits:Our approach to benefits and total rewards considers our team members' whole selves and what may be needed to thrive in and outside work.
