TheABA-approved ParalegalStudies Program at Tulane University’s School of Professional Advancement (SoPA) seeks qualified individualsto add to its part-time Adjunct Lecturer pool and welcomesqualifiedapplicants.Qualified applicants may be contacted if an opportunity consistent with their qualifications becomes available. Courses in the Paralegal Studies Program are offered in online and remote (synchronous) formats, in compliance with both ABA’s specific guidelines for paralegal education and SoPA’s requirements for online course development. All Adjunct Lecturers must complete SoPA’s self-guided training for teachers, adhere to SoPA’s pedagogical requirements, and complete required training on current with institutional and instructional platforms.

Qualifications
- J.D, Ph.D., MLS, or equivalent masters-level degree
- 3 to 5 years of law firm, NGO, military, oragency experience directly related to the area of expertiseand involving work with paralegals on legal teams.
- 3 to 5 years of experience inlitigation,corporate and/or real estate transactions, or regulatory compliance counseling; developing and presenting ABA-approvedCLE presentations;and/or university-level teaching.
- Applicants who are or have ever been licensed to practice law must have no history of formal disciplinary investigation or proceeding in any jurisdiction
