What You'll Do:
- Provide acute care nursing in a fast-paced Trauma Center environment
- Initiate and manage admission orders for varied patient diagnoses
- Document initial assessments accurately and promptly
- Monitor and manage cardiac/anticoagulant drips (e.g., Cardizem, Heparin)
- Support rapid patient throughput with minimal supervision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care priorities
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
What You Need:
- Valid Kansas State Nursing License or Multistate Compact License
- BLS and ACLS certifications (via AHA)
- At least 1-2 years of acute care experience, preferably in a trauma or emergency setting
- Proven ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and manage time efficiently
- Experience with cardiac management and rapid patient turnover
