Activity Director

Ellisville Rehab & Nursing is now hiring a Full-time Activity Director!

Are you a creative, energetic, and compassionate leader who loves bringing joy to others? Our skilled nursing facility is seeking an Activity Director to plan, coordinate, and lead engaging programs that enrich the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a diverse calendar of recreational, social, and therapeutic activities to meet residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial needs.
• Lead group and one-on-one activities that promote engagement and well-being.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and dietary teams to support individualized care plans.
• Coordinate special events, holiday celebrations, and community involvement.
• Supervise and train activity assistants and volunteers.
• Maintain required documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as an Activity Director or in a related activities/recreation role in long-term care
• Certified Activity Director (ADC) required
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Genuine passion for improving residents’ quality of life.
