JOB SUMMARY
The Accounts Receivable Clerk if primarily responsible for counting and depositing all monies received by Times Super Market, Ltd. Work involves billing for Vendor Coupons, Product Coupons, HMSA claims and charges. Posts to the General Ledger accounts. Prepares data for SBC submission. Collects from vendors for damaged merchandise.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Issue bills and invoices
Files and maintains all credit memo invoices.
Enter daily cash receipt deposits against Daily Deposit Log and GL Accounts.
Enters finalized cash receipts and updates accounts receivable ledger by customer.
Files check stubs and bank receipts.
Ensures that payments are posted and distributed accurately and within required time
Researches, identifies and allocates all payments.
Processes charge backs, returns, and bad checks.
Ensures timely resolution of invalid deductions and short payments.
Answers accounts receivable phone inquiries and follows up.
Obtains and mails invoice copies for customers, as requested.

2. Deposits all cash received by Times Super Market, Ltd. and posts cash receipts to system.
3. Separates WIC coupons.
4. Sends out invoices for WIC coupons, Vendor coupons, Product coupons, HMSA claims and charges.
5. Posts receivables onto the General Ledger accounts.
6. Processes register change accounts.
7. Prepares paperwork for submission to SBC.
8. Balances Vendor coupon payments.
9. Xeroxes purchase orders and sends copies to the respective Stores.

3. Mails out claims to HMSA.

- Prior experience in Accounts Receivable, related accounting areas, or Cash Summary preferred.
