Accounts Payable AssociateSeattle, WA | Part-Time | Temporary | $26–$30/hr DOESchedule Approximately 25 hours per weekFlexible schedule between 8:00 AM–4:00 PMSome flexibility with days/hoursTraining/start date: September 29, 2026Assignment is expected to be approximately 12 weeks, with final duration to be determinedPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to provide support to a busy accounting team in Seattle. The primary focus of this position will be weekly Accounts Payable processing, along with additional support for Accounts Receivable, month-end accounting, payroll, and general accounting tasks.The ideal candidate will have previous accounts payable or bookkeeping experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to quickly learn and work within accounting software. Candidates with stronger or more extensive accounting experience are also encouraged to apply.ResponsibilitiesAccounts PayableAssist with processing weekly AP batches, checks, and related documentationReview and process monthly credit card statementsMaintain annual vendor and check payment filesReconcile and process petty cashEnsure AP records and documentation are accurate and organizedAccounts ReceivableAssist the Accounts Receivable Specialist with duties as neededMonth-End AccountingAssist with monthly bank reconciliationsAssist with generating budget reports for budget managersPayroll & Human ResourcesAssist with monthly payroll-related tasks as neededAssist with absence reports and other HR-related accounting itemsQualificationsPrevious Accounts Payable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracyComfortable working with accounting software and learning new systemsProficient in Microsoft ExcelExperience with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs is a plusExperience with MIP accounting software is helpful but not requiredStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating with the accounting teamReliable and able to maintain confidentiality when handling financial and payroll informationWhy Consider This Opportunity?This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys detailed AP work and can step into a team environment quickly.
