Accounting SupervisorThis Accounting Supervisor will support the pharmaceutical distribution (PD) business by helping drive the successful adoption and ongoing support of a global ERP transformation.Ideal candidate will be based in the greater Columbus area with the ability to work a hybrid schedule, coming into the Dublin, OH office one day a week. Also open to remote candidates in Eastern and Central time zones.ResponsibilitiesLead post-go-live accounting support and issue resolution by identifying, investigating, and resolving accounting and system-related issues during the Hypercare period.Coordinate close process reviews and validation activities to ensure transactions, postings, and financial results are processing accurately across key accounting areas, including intercompany.Develop and execute transaction-level and reporting-based monitoring controls to detect errors, identify exceptions, and support timely remediation.Partner with Accounting, IT, and Project teams to track, escalate, and drive resolution of outstanding ERP and process-related issues through completion.Establish sustainable long-term controls and detective reporting measures to mitigate risk, improve data integrity, and support ongoing operational effectiveness.Support accounting operations and special projects by partnering with various PD Accounting teams on financial analyses, account reconciliations, issue resolution, and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.Build deep knowledge of accounting processes, transaction flows, and ERP functionality to independently assess accounting impacts and develop complex future-state journal entries.Take ownership of assigned deliverables from start to finish, including information gathering, analysis, issue resolution, documentation, and workpaper preparation.Proactively manage priorities and communicate status updates, ensuring deadlines are met, risks are identified early, and stakeholders remain informed of progress.Demonstrate strong attention to detail and execution discipline by accurately following instructions, seeking clarification when needed, and minimizing rework through thorough understanding of requirements.Ensure compliance with SOX requirementsOther PD Accounting close duties as neededQualificationsBachelors degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred3+ years corporate and/or public accounting experience in related field, preferredPrior supervisory experienceCPA preferredWhat is expected of you and others at this levelCoordinates and supervises the daily activities of operations, or business support staffAdministers and executes policies and proceduresEnsures employees operate within guidelinesDecisions have a direct impact on work unit operations and customersFrequently interacts with subordinates, customers and peer groups at various management levelsInteractions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolutionAnticipated salary range: $80,900-$115,500Bonus eligible: NoBenefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.Medical, dental and vision coveragePaid time off planHealth savings account (HSA)401k savings planAccess to wages before pay day with myFlexPayFlexible spending accounts (FSAs)Short- and long-term disability coverageWork-Life resourcesPaid parental leaveHealthy lifestyle programsApplication window anticipated to close: 08/31/2026 *if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible.The salary range listed is an estimate.
