Accounting Supervisor (AP/AR Supervisor) for stable and growing CPG manufacturing company

Accounting SupervisorLocation: Santa Ana, CA (Onsite) Compensation: Up to $100,000 DOEA growing manufacturing organization is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to support day-to-day accounting operations across AP, AR, and general accounting functions within a multi-entity environment.This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the Controller and offers the opportunity to help strengthen accounting processes, support operational improvements, and contribute to a company currently undergoing significant growth and modernization initiatives.The ideal candidate is hands-on, solutions-oriented, adaptable, and eager to grow into broader leadership responsibilities over time.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and support daily Accounts Payable activities, including invoice processing, approvals, accruals, and three-way matchingAssist with general accounting responsibilities including bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close supportOversee AP and AR team workflow and provide day-to-day guidance across accounting operationsSupport inventory-related accounting and reconciliation activities between multiple divisions and ERP systemsEnsure timely invoice posting and proper accrual handling when invoices are pendingHelp improve processes, strengthen controls, and support ongoing accounting infrastructure developmentPartner closely with the Controller on operational and accounting initiativesAssist with cross-functional communication between accounting, operations, and plant teamsQualifications:5+ years of accounting and accounts payable experience requiredPrior supervisory or lead experience preferredStrong understanding of accounting principles, AP processes, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end proceduresExperience within manufacturing or inventory-based environments highly preferredExperience working with ERP systems such as Sage, Dynamics/Navision, or similar platforms preferredAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferredStrong attitude, adaptability, accountability, and willingness to learn are critical for successEnvironment:Fully onsite role based in Santa Ana, CACollaborative and supportive leadership teamCompany is undergoing operational transformation and significant projected growthOpportunity for long-term growth and succession planning within accounting leadership
