Accounting Manager – Unanet & ADP ExpertLocation: Columbia, MD (Onsite) Duration: Full-TimeSerigor Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our financial operations and serve as the primary expert for our Unanet ERP and ADP payroll systems. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing all core accounting functions while overseeing an offshore accounting team.

The ideal candidate brings deep government contracting finance experience, Unanet super-user expertise, and a continuous improvement mindset.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting Operations & Financial ManagementOversee day-to-day accounting operations including G/L, A/P, A/R, payroll, and bank reconciliationsPrepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to senior managementManage cash flow monitoring, budgeting, and short- and long-range financial forecastingAnalyze indirect rates monthly and report on variancesOversee tax preparation and filing; interface with external CPA firm for business tax returnsConduct periodic internal audits to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial dataDevelop and implement financial policies and procedures aligned with regulatory standardsUnanet ERP AdministrationServe as Unanet Super User: configure and maintain system backend, project administration, PO functionality, and system improvementsGenerate ad hoc and analytics reports; continuously optimize Unanet for operational efficiencyManage purchase orders, invoicing, and onboarding/offboarding workflows within UnanetCollect and process weekly timesheets; ensure accuracy and complianceLead or support Unanet upgrades, integrations, and process automation initiativesADP Payroll ManagementAdminister ADP payroll processing across all employee types; ensure timely and accurate payroll runsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulationsOversee 401(k) and benefits integrations within ADP; coordinate with HR on employee lifecycle eventsOffshore Team LeadershipDirectly supervise and coordinate with the offshore accounting team on daily deliverablesAssign tasks, review outputs, and ensure quality and timeliness of all offshore deliverablesTrain and mentor offshore team members on processes, compliance standards, and system usageEstablish workflows, SOPs, and communication cadences with the offshore teamRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA or Master's preferred)5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory roleHands-on expertise with Unanet ERP (Financials, Project Tracking, and system administration)Proficiency in ADP payroll processing and administrationStrong knowledge of GAAP, DCAA/FAR compliance, and government contracting accounting requirementsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office SuiteDemonstrated experience managing or coordinating with remote/offshore accounting teamsExceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple prioritiesPreferred QualificationsExperience leading or participating in Unanet ERP implementations or upgradesFamiliarity with Power Automate, Tableau, or other data visualization/automation toolsExperience with incurred cost submissions, indirect rate structures, and cost proposalsBackground in M&A financial due diligence or accounting system migrationsCPA certification or active pursuit of CPA licensureSystems & ToolsERP / Accounting: Unanet Financials, Unanet Project TrackingPayroll & HR: ADP Payroll, Fidelity 401(k) integrationProductivity & Analytics: Microsoft Office Suite, Excel (Advanced), Power Automate, TableauWhat We OfferCollaborative, mission-driven work environmentCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits
