Accounting Manager - Remote – Future Growth – Cleveland Area!

The Accounting Manager will lead key accounting processes, oversee a team of accounting professionals, and serve as a trusted partner to finance and operational leadership. You will own the monthly close process, support audit and reporting initiatives, drive process improvements, and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting across a complex multi-location business.
Target Compensation up to $130K (depending on experience) + bonus and strong benefits.
REMOTE – Preference in Cleveland Area - Limited Travel for Quarterly Meetings
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Hands-on Accounting Manager that will own the accounting process for a large multi-location business
- Lead consolidations and monthly close to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, reconciliations, and account analysis
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals
- Serve as the primary accounting contact for external audit support and requests
- Partner with Finance, AP, AR, Treasury, Tax, and operational teams across the business
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and controls
- Support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and special projects as needed
- Drive accountability and proactively identify potential concerns
Skills Needed:
- Targeting 5 to 10 years of experience – ownership of accounting processes
- Experience leading month-end close and financial reporting processes
- Background working in complex, multi-entity or multi-location organizations
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or related field
- CPA – Highly Preferred
- Prior Service experience plus
- Experience in a fast-paced, complex environment
